Congrats to our undergrad trainee David Xiang Gu on his poster presentation for his NSERC USRA research at Concordia Undergraduate Research Showcase! Over the past summer, David has proposed a deep learning-based super-resolution solution for non-human primate MRIs.
This year, our Health-X Lab had a number of presentations on medical AI and VR research, including generative AI and foundation models at MICCAI 2024, the leading venue for medical image computing and image-guided surgery.
Notably, our MSc graduate Reihaneh Teimouri received nomination for the best paper and young investigator awards, and MSc trainee Christopher Neves won the best paper award (1st place) at the MICCAI Machine Learning in Clinical Neuroimaging (MLCN) workshop! We are grateful for the insightful discussions and interests for our works from the community. Look forward to sharing more exciting research in the coming year! |
